The Stanjikoming Band was living in northwest Ontario but did not have any reserve lands. DPRA was retained to carry out a study of the social costs of the loss of lands and community, including analysis of traditional land use activities. DPRA documented the community linkages between members and the territory on which they carried out their traditional pursuits and activities which formed part of the input to reclaim reserve lands and compensation.
