DPRA was retained by the Mushkegowuk Council to facilitate a series of activities in order produce a resource development protocol. The purpose of the protocol is to provide the First Nations belonging to the Mushkegowuk Council, as well as natural resource-based industries and federal and provincial governments, with a consistent process in the negotiation of resource development in Mushkegowuk Council territory. IER has facilitated a meeting of Mushkegowuk Council chiefs to establish the foundations of the protocol. The project also involves IER facilitating meetings with members of the nine Mushkegowuk Council communities, as well as a resource development forum.
