DPRA was retained by Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada to create on-line surveys to gather information about customers’ experience of sales and services with retailers across the country. The surveys are available in both English and French. To access the surveys, the owner is required to enter the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of the motorcycle. The website checks for the validity of the VIN and the date of purchase. The surveys are time sensitive, in which the sales surveys are designated for new owners, and the service surveys are for the owners who have the motorcycle for 18 months or longer. The owner is asked a series of questions about his/her experience with the retailer. Linked to an external MS Access database, the surveys results are automatically recorded into the appropriate tables for subsequent analysis and reporting.
