Audits are required under ISO 14001. This audit is intended to determine conformance to the standard, not necessarily compliance with a regulation. Due to our environmental expertise, DPRA can conduct audits that cover both conformance and compliance. The purposes of the EMS audit are to determine whether the organization:
  • has all 17 elements of ISO 14001 in place and implemented
  • is actually following the procedures it has in place to meet the 17 elements
