VAUGHAN - DPRA Canada/Terriplan Consultants are pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory in June 2010. We look forward to providing a local presence for our new and existing clients in the Yukon, as well as offer support for our pan-northern projects. DPRA has provided consulting services in the North for over 20 years. The company understands northern challenges and has an enviable reputation for excellent service, earned by working hard to understand clients’ needs and by using collaborative approaches to undertake project planning and project work. The focus at DPRA Canada - Whitehorse will be to continue to provide our clients with quality services on time and on budget in the areas of: Socio-Economic Impact Assessment, Consultation, Aboriginal Development Services, Health, Stakeholder Engagement and Communications, Strategic Planning, Organizational Management and Information Technology.

The Whitehorse office will be managed by DPRA Canada Associate Shena Shaw, who relocated from DPRA’s Yellowknife office (Terriplan Consultants). Shena’s expertise includes regulatory affairs, northern economic and political development, as well as environmental issues. Within her past and present academic and work experience, Shena is fully engaged in the cultural, economic, and environmental aspects of northern Canada. Shena was raised in Whitehorse and is excited to be returning home.
