DPRA was commissioned by the CDC and funded by an EPA Brownfield Grant to develop a Brownfield Redevelopment Environmental Information System (BREIS) that would allow easy access to environmental and redevelopment-related information as an aid to redevelopment within its jurisdiction. DPRA’s Geographic Information System (GIS) team compiled all available redevelopment information and constructed the BREIS – a website portal which requires no specialized software or training (www.nationalcitybreis.org).
