Opportunity:
CFAST Integrator Developer

Description:

  • Provide timely advice and technical support to the command's use of CFAST in contingency, crisis and exercise planning.
  • Provide technical assistance to JFCOM staff in all aspects of CFAST supported planning processes and assist the command in transforming planning processes to meet established Adaptive Planning goals utilizing CFAST and other integrated technology capabilities.
  • Support coordinated planning effort within the theater by assisting JFCOM component commands with CFAST related implementation of JFCOM planning guidance and by overseeing and coordinating DPRA team planning support to the components.
  • Support the identification of requirements to the Joint Staff J7 Adaptive Technology Working Group to enable CFAST to support JFCOM Theater planning needs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Detailed knowledge of a particular phase of military deployment, transportations, and/or logistics management.  Ability to help translate domain knowledge into software applications.
 
Preferred Skills:

Description:
Responsible for sample preparation, extraction, Gas Chromatography-operation, and assist isotope lab manager to operate Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometers and other analytical equipment.  Preparation of laboratory reports as necessary.

Description:

Joint Staff Planning


Description:
Support the Pentagon's planning contract with J7. Joint Operational War Plans Division (JOWPD). Provide timely advice and technical support to the Division Chief JOWPD on the development and implementation of Adaptive Planning (AP) and use of CFAST in contingency, crisis, and exercise planning.
Provide operational & technical assistance to Joint Staff in all aspects of joint operational planning and execution technology. Draft documents and briefings in support of planning processes and assist the Chief, JOWPD in transforming the planning and execution processes to met established Adaptive Planning goals in accordance with SeeDef guidance.
Support DPRA Component Command AP subject matter experts (SME) representatives who provide onsite CFAST support to the component commands.
Support the identification of all requirements for the development and implementation of the Adaptive Planning process to the Joint Staff J7 JOWPD.
