For years, the DPRA company Cuesta Systems Inc. has designed and built forest information management systems for forestry companies.  We have recently translated this expertise into our Timberlands Information Management Solutions (TIMS) software product.

TIMS is an integrated and comprehensive timberlands information management system designed to follow the business activities of forestry professionals as they manage the growth and supply of wood fiber to their customers.

TIMS is available as a multi-user corporate solution for large organizations or as a desktop solution for woodlot managers or smaller forestry operators.

The TIMS Client/Server version is designed for operators managing hundreds of thousands of hectares of forestlands with multiple users editing the system at any given time.

The TIMS Desktop version is intended for smaller operators or forestry consultants that manage smaller areas (e.g., up to 75,000 stands) and have a limited number of users who require access to the system.

TIMS Client/Server and TIMS Desktop are built in a modular fashion.  These modules mimic the forest lifecycle of growth, maturity, harvesting, establishment (planting and tending), and back to forest growth. Each module has a suite of specific business processes.

Other than their respective capacities, both TIMS Client/Server and TIMS Desktop have the same functionality and look and feel.
